Three colors : White

(Trois Couleurs: Blanc)

1993

FEATURE

Second of Polish director Kieslowski's THREE COLORS trilogy based on the "liberty, equality, fraternity" symbolism of the blue, white, and red French flag. This story concerns a hapless Pole whose beautiful Frence wife (Delpy) is divorcing him for no longer being able to perform in bed. Full of irony and subtle wit; the best of the trilogy. Kieslowski wrote the screenplay with frequent collaborator Krzystof Piesiewicz. Title on screen is THREE COLORS: WHITE.
