FEATURE:

A youth, Jacek, randomly kills a taxi driver in the longest killing scene ever filmed. Piotr is a new lawyer with radical ideas who has just passed his bar exams. He is to defend Jacek, and finds his ideas of law are put to a dramatic test when he is unable to secure clemency for the murderer. Piotr, after Jacek is executed by hanging, is left with doubt about the Polish legal system. Does it have the right, in the name of the people, to kill in cold blood?
